• Chit / Kuri Scheme & Financial Records: Group names, monthly installment targets, installment payment entries, auction bid history, payment receipts, and balance calculations.
• Role & Operational Data: User role designations (Group Admin, Cash Collector, or Kuri Member) to ensure appropriate dashboard access and permissions.
• Device & Technical Information: Device model, operating system version, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Device Tokens for delivering transactional push notifications, and network state indicators.

2. How We Use Your Information

We utilize the collected information strictly for legitimate operational purposes, including:

• Managing your Kuri groups, member passbooks, and digital payment receipts.
• Authenticating users securely via phone number, email, and password.
• Calculating dues, advances, lucky draws, and auction settlements automatically.
• Sending instant push notifications for payment handovers, approvals, auction schedules, and dues reminders.
• Processing Pro plan subscriptions and renewals for Group Admins.
• Providing customer support and debugging technical issues.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

To deliver our services reliably, we partner with trusted industry-standard third-party providers who adhere to strict data security standards:

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google LLC): Used to deliver real-time push notifications (payment approvals, receipts, auction announcements) directly to your device.
• Razorpay Software Private Limited: Used securely to process Group Admin subscription payments. We do not store your credit/debit card numbers, UPI PINs, or bank account credentials on our servers.
• Cloud Database & Hosting Infrastructure: Encrypted PostgreSQL database and hosting servers with automated daily backups to protect your records.

4. Data Security & Storage

We implement robust industry-standard technical and organizational security measures:

• All data transmitted between the SmartKuri mobile application and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS / SSL (TLS 1.3).
• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard cryptographic algorithms before being stored.
• Role-based access control prevents unauthorized access to member financial data.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to maintain historical chit fund records for group members.

6. Children's Privacy

Our application is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from minors.
